Either statement is fine. I receive a ton of faxes in the morning from mortgage companies so maybe my line was busy. You have the right number. When you do connect a voice comes on that you have to wait through then it will accept the fax. If the fax machine you are calling from cuts off before the end of the message it won't go through.
