At around 7PM, they talked to Joe about starting a slow drip of
pitocin. He came and told me what they were going to do. "Do they have to?" I
asked. He said they did so that I wouldn't keep on piddling along in labor, since the
baby's situation did not seem to be getting any better. During this time, Nyasha also
tried to break my bag of waters to see if there was any meconium. She had checked before
and discovered the bag had already broken, but there was apparently a forebag that she
could feel during contractions but was unable to break.
