Before Thanksgiving, we had gone out with a real estate agent several times, hoping to find a house - one with plenty of grass for Rebekah to experience!  Just before we left for California, we made an offer on a house.  It went back and forth a couple times, and we were sure this was it!

While we were away, though, another family made a much more enticing offer on the same house, and the seller accepted it.  We were disappointed, especially since I had already started packing our things up!  Soon enough, though, we would have to find a new house.  But it would have to wait until after New Years.
